Telecom and IT Engineer

About the Role

The Telecom and IT Engineer will deploy, operate, and maintain telecommunications and IT infrastructure across remote oilfield sites, ensuring reliable connectivity and supporting operational teams with network, server, and field communications solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, and maintain telecom systems such as Fiber Optic, VSAT Satellite, UHF/VHF Radio, and Wireless Networks
• Support IP Telephony (VoIP), PABX systems, and field communication infrastructure
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Provide technical support for IT systems, servers, and end‑user devices in the field
• Assist in the maintenance of SCADA and industrial communication networks
• Perform preventive maintenance, system health checks, and fault resolution
