About the Role

The Director of Programs leads the design, implementation, and oversight of FSDE’s programme portfolio, translating strategic goals into high-impact interventions that drive systemic change in Ethiopia’s financial sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic direction and programme portfolio design for systemic change in Ethiopia’s financial sector
  • Shape high-level theories of change and identify impactful interventions
  • Guide programme heads to align strategies with institutional priorities
  • Oversee development of funding proposals and budget plans
  • Manage portfolio performance, risk, and value for money
  • Engage donors, investors, regulators, and senior stakeholders
  • Communicate strategy to internal and external audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners
