The Senior Sea Freight Operation Officer will own end-to-end ocean freight workflows, managing shipments, documentation, carrier negotiations, and stakeholder communication to ensure efficient import/export operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute, track, and monitor ocean import/export shipments globally
- Supervise maritime documentation including HBL/MBL, manifests, sea waybills, and delivery orders
- Negotiate rates and secure vessel space allocations with shipping lines
- Collaborate with customs brokers and dry ports to reduce demurrage
- Communicate real-time milestones and solutions to corporate accounts
