Asset Creation Technical Officer

About the Role

The Asset Creation Technical Officer leads the design, implementation, and monitoring of agricultural value chain and entrepreneurship initiatives for smallholder farmers, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and data-driven impact assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage asset creation activities for agricultural value chains and entrepreneurship
• Lead capacity-building sessions and provide post-training mentorship
• Coordinate project implementation, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery
• Monitor progress with MERL tools and produce periodic reports
• Build strategic partnerships with local government and NGOs
• Support farmer groups in business development, focusing on women and youth
• Prepare concept notes and contribute to proposal budgeting
