This role delivers comprehensive nursing care to pregnant women and families, including routine monitoring, reproductive health services, emergency interventions, and counseling within a defined scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services within scope of practice
- Perform vital sign checks and aseptic procedures
- Administer medications and monitor therapeutic effects
- Conduct reproductive health and family planning services
- Carry out safe abortion procedures when requested
- Deliver ANC, PNC and cervical cancer screening
- Manage emergency treatment for pregnant women
- Collect specimens and perform laboratory tests
- Counsel patients on pregnancy prevention and termination
