Project Manager - III/GAC Global EmpowHER

About the Role

The Project Manager will strategically lead the GAC Global EmpowHER initiative in Addis Ababa, coordinating multi-regional implementation of SRHR interventions, ensuring donor compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and quality service delivery while fostering community engagement and data-driven learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the GAC Global EmpowHER Project across multiple regions
• Ensure alignment with Theory of Change, Results Framework, and donor compliance standards
• Develop annual work plans, performance tracking tools, and financial frameworks
• Coordinate implementation and joint review mechanisms
• Strengthen collaboration with government institutions, CSOs, CBOs, and community gatekeepers
• Represent FGAE in national and regional coordination platforms and advocacy forums
• Oversee capacity strengthening for health workers and community empowerment initiatives
• Guide service delivery expansion and quality assurance of SRH and safe abortion care
• Support integration of trauma-informed care pathways and GBV clinical case management
• Lead community engagement to promote inclusive BCC materials and social norms change
• Manage MEAL framework, data quality assessments, and adaptive learning
• Ensure financial compliance with GAC guidelines and safeguarding standards
• Supervise project implementation team and build technical capacity
