The Project Manager will strategically lead the GAC Global EmpowHER initiative in Addis Ababa, coordinating multi-regional implementation of SRHR interventions, ensuring donor compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and quality service delivery while fostering community engagement and data-driven learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of the GAC Global EmpowHER Project across multiple regions
- Ensure alignment with Theory of Change, Results Framework, and donor compliance standards
- Develop annual work plans, performance tracking tools, and financial frameworks
- Coordinate implementation and joint review mechanisms
- Strengthen collaboration with government institutions, CSOs, CBOs, and community gatekeepers
- Represent FGAE in national and regional coordination platforms and advocacy forums
- Oversee capacity strengthening for health workers and community empowerment initiatives
- Guide service delivery expansion and quality assurance of SRH and safe abortion care
- Support integration of trauma-informed care pathways and GBV clinical case management
- Lead community engagement to promote inclusive BCC materials and social norms change
- Manage MEAL framework, data quality assessments, and adaptive learning
- Ensure financial compliance with GAC guidelines and safeguarding standards
- Supervise project implementation team and build technical capacity
