Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer

About the Role

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer will design and strengthen MEAL frameworks, manage data collection and analysis, produce reports for donors, coordinate evaluations, build capacity, and support evidence‑based decision making across Eyu Ethiopia’s programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen MEAL frameworks and indicators
• Design and standardise data collection tools and methodologies
• Ensure MEL systems comply with organisational and donor requirements
• Coordinate routine programme data collection and reporting processes
• Maintain secure databases and conduct data quality assessments
• Analyse data to identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and donor reports and dashboards
• Coordinate baseline, midline, endline and other evaluations
• Build staff and partner capacity on MEL tools and reporting
• Collaborate with programme, finance and operations teams on MEL activities
