The Director of Programmes leads the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Eyu Ethiopia’s health programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, securing resources, building partnerships, and fostering organisational growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes
- Align programmes with strategic plan and national priorities
- Lead annual program planning
- Supervise programme staff and project teams
- Ensure high-quality execution and compliance with donor requirements
- Develop competitive proposals and pursue funding opportunities
- Build partnerships with government, donors and NGOs
- Represent Eyu Ethiopia at technical forums
- Mentor and develop staff
- Oversee programme budgets
