About the Role

This accountant role involves managing general ledger activities, tax compliance, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring robust internal controls within a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger, bank statements, accounts payable and receivable daily
  • Prepare and file corporate taxes, VAT, withholding taxes and payroll deductions in compliance with local laws
  • Manage monthly payroll calculations, disbursements and statutory deductions
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue invoices and schedule vendor payments
  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors and maintain strict internal controls
