Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and pneumatic faults on industrial sewing equipment
- Maintain, repair or replace gear assemblies, timing systems, drive belts, and motor systems
- Modify machinery attachments for production requirements
- Execute and improve the factory’s preventive maintenance program
- Inspect, clean, lubricate machines to prevent breakdowns
- Test-run repaired machinery to meet stitch quality standards
- Mentor junior mechanics on advanced repair techniques
- Coordinate with production supervisors during peak shifts
- Track daily repairs, parts used, and downtime
- Audit spare parts inventory
