The Senior Public Relation Officer will lead public relations and marketing communications efforts, building media relationships, crafting messaging, managing campaigns, and supporting crisis communication to enhance the organization’s reputation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public relations and communication strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Implement marketing and PR initiatives to strengthen the organization’s image
- Build and maintain relationships with media, stakeholders, and external partners
- Draft and edit press releases, speeches, newsletters, and other communication materials
- Coordinate media engagements such as interviews and press conferences
- Plan and oversee PR campaigns and events
- Ensure consistency of messaging and branding across platforms
- Monitor media coverage and public perception
- Support crisis communication efforts
- Provide professional advice to management on PR matters
- Coordinate internal and external communication activities
- Prepare reports evaluating the impact of communication initiatives
