The Finance Manager leads EWLA’s financial operations, ensuring accurate budgeting, compliance with IPSAS/IFRS standards, audit readiness, and strategic financial planning across headquarters and branches.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for headquarters and branches
- Ensure compliance with EWLA’s financial manual and internal controls
- Coordinate periodic audits and prepare audit reports
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to leadership, board, and donors
- Develop and update financial policies and procedures
- Supervise finance staff and oversee training initiatives
- Manage bank relationships, cash flow, and payment processing
- Conduct field visits for financial oversight and support
