The Human Resources and Members’ Affairs Officer will oversee ESOG’s internal HR systems and manage nationwide membership affairs, ensuring compliance, efficient operations, and strategic growth of the organization’s professional network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with Ethiopian labor law
- Lead transparent recruitment processes and staff onboarding
- Design and implement performance appraisal systems aligned with strategic priorities
- Manage staff welfare, grievances, disciplinary actions, leave and benefits administration
- Ensure HR compliance and internal audit support
- Create and execute membership engagement and retention strategies
- Maintain accurate membership database and produce analytics reports
- Coordinate member communications, newsletters and professional support cases
- Collaborate with branch offices to expand membership coverage
- Prepare quarterly HR and membership reports for Executive Director and Board
