Analyst, Membership Regulation & Supervision

About the Role

The analyst oversees membership admissions, conducts inspections, monitors regulatory compliance, and supports trading members to adhere to ESX rules within the Ethiopian Securities Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Review membership applications for compliance with rules
• Conduct preliminary due diligence on applicants
• Maintain accurate records of admission process
• Develop internal procedures for ESX rule book compliance
• Provide guidance on regulatory matters to trading members
• Plan and execute inspections of trading members
• Prepare inspection plans, reports, and follow-up communications
• Monitor corrective actions and maintain supervisory records
• Review periodic regulatory reports and disclosures
• Prepare analytical dashboards and supervisory statistics
• Maintain supervisory databases and ensure data integrity
• Coordinate with internal departments and external regulators
• Participate in industry working groups and committees
