Under the Regional Project Coordinator, the Project Officer leads field-level WASH and health promotion activities, coordinating implementation, monitoring, and reporting to achieve project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct WASH and health technical feasibility studies and beneficiary targeting
- Oversee rehabilitation/construction of WASH infrastructures and health centers
- Facilitate disease and nutrition surveillance, vaccination campaigns, and hygiene promotion activities
- Supervise distribution of hygiene kits and water treatment supplies
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs and stakeholders for program integration
- Monitor project progress using ERCS/NLRC quality checklists
- Support MEAL unit in baseline/post-distribution assessments
- Prepare and submit regular activity plans and reports
- Ensure gender, disability, child protection and environmental considerations are mainstreamed
