The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting for core operations and projects, ensuring accurate ledger maintenance, timely reconciliations, and compliance with audit requirements within the Ethiopian Red Cross Society.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for core cost and projects
- Maintain ledgers, journal vouchers, and supporting documents
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables
- Coordinate quarterly and annual closings and audits
- Analyze trial balances and provide management reports
- Assist branch offices with accounting activities
