Responsibilities
- Sort, classify, label and shelve drugs
- Dispense drugs per prescriptions
- Maintain drug stock integrity
- Document and preserve dispensed prescriptions
- Weigh and measure drugs for packaging
- Affix instructional labels
- Secure prescriptions and special drugs
- Perform clerical tasks related to dispensing
- Monitor temperature-sensitive drugs and record temperatures
- Advise users on medication use
