About the Role

The Finance Officer manages the organization’s finances, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and transparent reporting to support effective program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditures against approved allocations
  • Ensure compliance with NGO policies, donor regulations, and statutory laws
  • Support internal and external audits with timely documentation
  • Process staff salaries, benefits, and vendor payments
  • Prepare donor financial reports and liaise with program teams
  • Train staff on financial procedures and promote financial literacy
  • Provide management with financial information for decision-making
