The Finance Officer manages the organization’s finances, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and transparent reporting to support effective program delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditures against approved allocations
- Ensure compliance with NGO policies, donor regulations, and statutory laws
- Support internal and external audits with timely documentation
- Process staff salaries, benefits, and vendor payments
- Prepare donor financial reports and liaise with program teams
- Train staff on financial procedures and promote financial literacy
- Provide management with financial information for decision-making
