The Free Legal Aid Program Manager leads ELA’s legal aid initiatives, overseeing litigation, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of accessible client-centered services across regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate legal aid activities
- Develop and implement legal policies
- Provide strategic legal advice to leadership
- Represent the organization in courts and tribunals
- Oversee litigation and alternative dispute resolution
- Conduct legal research and issue opinions
- Draft and manage contracts
- Monitor compliance with laws
- Supervise regional legal aid services
- Improve service delivery quality
- Manage case data and reporting
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate staff
