Responsibilities
- Receive and process human rights complaints through a case management system
- Maintain records of cases, issue summons and decisions
- Communicate with complainants
- Oversee data compilation, verification, and dissemination related to complaint handling
- Provide information, assistance, and referrals for lodging complaints
- Collaborate with case managers on summons issuance
- Serve as a resource for the commission’s community regarding complaint procedures
- Review and recommend changes to systems, policies, guidelines, manuals, and tools
- Aggregate data on complaint handling processes and response times
