About the Role

The role supports the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission’s city office by managing cash operations, store inventory, and administrative tasks while coordinating communications, scheduling, and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle petty cash reimbursements and donor payments
  • Receive, sort, and verify incoming payments
  • Prepare detailed billing reports
  • Generate and issue invoices, notices, and statements in compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders on payment matters
  • Manage office store per property management policy
  • Maintain fixed asset records in IFMIS
  • Answer phone calls and greet visitors
  • Register and distribute correspondence
  • Draft communications for the city office head
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendar of the Head of the City Office
  • Assist with onboarding, staff communication, and travel arrangements
  • Secure signatures and track approvals
  • Provide general administrative support to thematic departments
  • Ensure adequate supplies and equipment
  • Maintain filing system
