MEP Coordinator (Mechanical)

About the Role

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical installations in building projects, ensuring integration with architectural and structural components while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage mechanical systems in building projects
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and drainage works
• Integrate mechanical systems with electrical and civil works
• Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Identify discrepancies and propose solutions to align with project requirements
• Monitor installation of mechanical systems on-site
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project specifications
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Facilitate communication between mechanical teams and other disciplines
• Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical systems
• Ensure proper commissioning and handover of mechanical installations
• Maintain records of mechanical works progress
• Prepare reports on mechanical system status, issues, and resolutions
