About the Role

The Lead Procurement Engineer manages procurement processes for technical materials and services on construction projects, ensuring value‑for‑money outcomes while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all procurement activities for assigned purchase packages, including tendering and supplier management
• Prepare technical assessment reports on supplier performance and market studies
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and delegation of authority
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, project controls, and quality teams to meet specifications and timelines
• Negotiate orders, follow up on deliveries, and manage invoice approvals
• Represent the Procurement Manager in client and management meetings
• Travel as required to support projects across Ethiopia
