Senior Technical Expert I: Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

Lead the full-stack development of web applications for Ethiopia’s agricultural transformation initiatives, ensuring robust functionality, security, and integration with government systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and server-side logic
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases
• Integrate front-end, back-end, and third-party systems
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation
• Support deployment, version control, and environment configuration
• Ensure compliance with government cybersecurity and data privacy policies
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal IT staff
