Senior Technical Expert I: -Back-end Developer

About the Role

Lead the design and development of robust back‑end services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security while collaborating across teams in a fast‑paced agricultural transformation initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and server‑side logic
• Build scalable microservices and business logic
• Ensure data integrity with backup and recovery mechanisms
• Optimize database performance and indexing
• Monitor application logs, uptime, and server performance
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and resolve issues
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Develop relational/non‑relational databases
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls
• Prepare technical documentation for systems and APIs
• Support deployment, version control, and environment configuration
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy policies
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal IT staff
