Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust back‑end services and APIs for Ethiopia’s agricultural transformation initiatives, ensuring high performance, security, and compliance with government policies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and server‑side logic
- Build scalable microservices and business logic
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery mechanisms
- Optimize database performance and indexing
- Monitor application logs, uptime, and server performance
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and fix issues
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Develop relational/non‑relational databases
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls
- Prepare technical documentation for systems and APIs
- Support deployment, version control, and environment configuration
