About the Role

The Senior Cost Accountant manages the recording and analysis of all poultry-related cost transactions, ensuring accurate coding, posting, and reporting to management. The role involves detailed inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and support for procurement and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Record goods receiving notes, return notes, credit notes and store issue vouchers
• Build and assist cost sheets for poultry commercial purchases
• Verify supplier invoices and source documents before payment processing
• Journalize and post settable egg receiving notes and related transactions
• Ensure accurate accumulation and allocation of production costs
• Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile against stock cards
• Prepare variance analysis reports on unit production costs, inventory shortages, and financial statements
