Responsible for supporting participatory forest management initiatives, engaging communities, providing technical livelihood training, coordinating monitoring efforts, and reporting progress to ensure sustainable forest use and conservation.
Responsibilities
- Support PFM institutions with forest management plans and bylaws
- Facilitate community engagement, rights awareness, and inclusive participation (women, youth, vulnerable groups)
- Provide technical support and training on sustainable livelihood activities linked to forest conservation
- Coordinate forest monitoring with local authorities, community institutions, and project partners at field level
- Monitor, document, and report on PFM and livelihood activities, outputs, and outcomes
- Ensure alignment of activities with project objectives, donor requirements, and safeguard standards
