Senior Accountant

About the Role

Senior Accountant responsible for managing all financial operations of a specialty coffee export company, including bookkeeping, cost analysis, trade finance, and compliance, while serving as the primary Odoo ERP user.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements
• Manage general ledger and month-end closing in Odoo
• Serve as key user for Odoo Accounting module
• Handle costing for green coffee purchases and exports
• Reconcile inventory with physical stock counts
• Monitor foreign currency transactions
• Track export-related costs and documentation
• Oversee supplier, cooperative, and farmer payments
• Manage customer invoicing and receivables
• Review letters of credit and trade finance docs
• Ensure compliance with tax, customs, and export/import regulations
• Support audit processes
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support cash flow and treasury management
• Supervise junior accounting staff
