Head of Sustainability

About the Role

Lead Ephtah Specialty Coffee’s sustainability and social impact initiatives, driving environmental stewardship, community empowerment, and compliance across the coffee supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategy aligned with corporate vision
• Set annual sustainability goals, KPIs and implementation plans
• Advise senior management on sustainability risks and emerging trends
• Promote sustainability across organizational culture
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all business functions
• Design environmental programs in the coffee supply chain
• Support climate-smart practices among producers
• Manage biodiversity, water stewardship, waste reduction and resource management initiatives
• Measure and reduce company carbon footprint
• Conduct sustainability assessments of suppliers
• Build partnerships with government, NGOs, certification bodies and donors
• Identify grant funding opportunities
• Monitor project budgets, deliverables and timelines
