The RMNCAH‑N Officer will lead the implementation of maternal, newborn, child, adolescent, and nutrition programs in pastoral communities, focusing on training, quality improvement, and referral strengthening to improve health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee RMNCAH-N program implementation in Afar region
- Plan and execute field-level activities, including training and mentorship for healthcare providers
- Conduct service readiness assessments and quality improvement initiatives
- Strengthen referral networks among regional health facilities
- Build relationships with public health facilities, district and regional health systems
- Coordinate and monitor program activities to ensure timely execution
- Provide technical assistance and guidance on RMNCAH-N interventions
