About the Role

The RMNCAH-N Officer leads the implementation of reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health programs in pastoralist communities of Afar, Ethiopia, ensuring service readiness, capacity building, and quality improvement through training, mentorship, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee RMNCAH-N program implementation in Afar region
• Plan and execute field-level activities, including training and mentorship sessions for healthcare providers
• Conduct service readiness assessments and quality improvement initiatives
• Strengthen referral networks among health facilities
• Coordinate and monitor timely execution of program activities
• Build relationships with public health facilities, district and regional health systems
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to healthcare providers
