The Finance Officer will manage project finances, ensuring accurate record-keeping, donor compliance, and effective budgeting for humanitarian and development programs in Afar, Semera.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for projects and operations
- Process payments, advances, liquidations, and bank transactions
- Prepare monthly reports, budget monitoring reports, and cash forecasts
- Support budget preparation and expenditure tracking
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations and internal controls
- Conduct bank and cash reconciliations
- Verify financial documents before processing
- Assist procurement teams on financial aspects of transactions
- Coordinate internal and external audits
