The Senior MEAL Officer will design, implement and manage ELiDA’s monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems across all programs, ensuring high-quality data collection, donor compliance, evidence generation, and organizational learning to improve program effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of MEAL frameworks and indicators across all thematic areas
- Develop and manage digital data collection systems (KoboToolbox, CommCare, ODK) and dashboards (Power BI)
- Ensure data quality, verification and reporting consistency across project sites
- Prepare high-quality donor and organizational reports and analytical briefs
- Support proposal development with logical frameworks and MEAL tools
- Facilitate learning review sessions and after-action reviews
- Provide technical support to staff on data analysis, reporting and documentation
- Represent ELiDA in external MEAL working groups and coordination forums
