The GBV Project Officer will design, implement and monitor gender‑based violence prevention and response programs in Kemissie, coordinating with partners, managing community mobilization, ensuring donor compliance, and upholding survivor‑centered principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, implementation and monitoring of GBV prevention and response activities
- Coordinate project work within consortium partners
- Establish and maintain collaborations with government and humanitarian actors
- Supervise community-based protection mechanisms and Women's Support Groups
- Plan and facilitate capacity‑building for facilitators and frontline workers
- Strengthen referral pathways and support survivor services
- Lead MEAL activities and produce technical reports
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, PSEAH and child protection policies
