Lead the company’s financial operations by preparing statements, managing ledgers, ensuring tax compliance, supervising staff, and supporting audits to maintain accurate reporting and strong internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Supervise junior accountants and finance staff
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations
- Prepare and file VAT, withholding tax, and payroll tax reports
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct bank and cash reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
- Implement and monitor internal control procedures
- Prepare management financial reports and analysis
