The role involves managing full accounting functions for ELC's Addis office, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll, and office administration, while ensuring smooth operations during a maternity leave cover period.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for the Addis office
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, fixed assets and general ledger
- Prepare financial statements and conduct monthly reviews
- Assist with tax audits, prepare returns, manage payroll taxes
- Renew company business license annually
- Manage banking relationships and execute payments to staff and suppliers
- Oversee office document management system and administrative tasks
- Coordinate office communications and maintain supplies
