About the Role

The role involves managing full accounting functions for ELC's Addis office, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll, and office administration, while ensuring smooth operations during a maternity leave cover period.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for the Addis office
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, fixed assets and general ledger
  • Prepare financial statements and conduct monthly reviews
  • Assist with tax audits, prepare returns, manage payroll taxes
  • Renew company business license annually
  • Manage banking relationships and execute payments to staff and suppliers
  • Oversee office document management system and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate office communications and maintain supplies
