Social Worker

About the Role

The Social Worker delivers case management, psychosocial support and community linkage services to children and youth with disabilities in Addis Ababa, ensuring rights‑based, holistic care within the BEN Ethiopia programme.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and register children and youth with disabilities and their caregivers as project right‑holders.
• Develop and implement individual support plans addressing social, psychosocial, educational, livelihood and health needs.
• Provide individual and group psychosocial support sessions and facilitate peer/caregiver support groups.
• Maintain accurate case files, conduct follow‑up visits and ensure timely closure of cases.
• Collect disaggregated monitoring data, submit monthly activity updates and contribute to quarterly narrative reports.
