About the Role

Prepare and cook traditional Chinese breakfast items in a professional kitchen while managing inventory, maintaining hygiene standards, and collaborating with the team to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and cut vegetables, marinate meats, prepare sauces, weigh ingredients
  • Operate Chinese cooking equipment for stir‑fry, deep‑fry, steam, or braise dishes
  • Monitor ingredient levels, manage backup supplies, rotate stock using FIFO
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, avoid cross‑contamination, label containers, keep workstation spotless
  • Communicate with other kitchen stations, expedite orders during busy rushes, assist senior chefs
