Responsible for ensuring full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws by preparing and filing statutory returns, providing tax analysis and advice to management, coordinating audits, and maintaining accurate records within East African National Distribution SC.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and file statutory tax returns (VAT, WHT, payroll, corporate income tax).
- Provide tax analysis and advisory to management for business decisions.
- Act as liaison during internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with Payroll, Procurement and Sales teams on VAT and withholding compliance.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping and reconcile tax payable/receivable accounts.
