Finance Manager

About the Role

The Finance Manager will lead the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective budgeting while providing strategic guidance to management and developing the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial operations of the company
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements
• Manage statutory reporting requirements, audits, and relationships with external auditors
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management
• Establish, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and other finance functions
• Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and profitability growth
• Support business planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making processes
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members to improve performance and professional growth
