About the Role

The Senior Accountant will manage all financial operations for a healthcare center, ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate billing, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll while supporting cost-control initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and healthcare financial reporting standards
• Oversee billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition for medical services
• Process insurance claims and manage timely collections from patients and payers
• Monitor receivables and analyze costs related to services and departments
• Support pricing decisions, cost-control initiatives, and budget preparation
• Provide financial forecasts based on patient volumes and operational trends
• Manage accounts payable and verify invoices against purchase orders
• Prepare payroll accounting for clinical and non-clinical staff
• Ensure accurate tax filings and respond to audits
• Collect daily cash from patient services and bank deposits
• Record accounting data using software
