About the Role

The Local Procurement Team Lead directs the full procurement cycle, manages a team, negotiates high-value contracts, and ensures alignment with Dodai’s operational and financial goals while fostering strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement cycle from vendor identification to delivery monitoring
  • Supervise junior team members, allocate tasks and manage performance
  • Negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing and long-term partnerships
  • Evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability, compliance, and value-for-money
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships promoting diversity and sustainability
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Battery Systems, Commercial, Customer Experience, Manufacturing & Engineering, Supply Chain) to meet operational needs
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and process optimization initiatives
  • Review and approve supplier invoices and prepare procurement reports
  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, suppliers, logistics data and pricing
