The Local Procurement Team Lead directs the full procurement cycle, manages a team, negotiates high-value contracts, and ensures alignment with Dodai’s operational and financial goals while fostering strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement cycle from vendor identification to delivery monitoring
- Supervise junior team members, allocate tasks and manage performance
- Negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing and long-term partnerships
- Evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability, compliance, and value-for-money
- Maintain strong supplier relationships promoting diversity and sustainability
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Battery Systems, Commercial, Customer Experience, Manufacturing & Engineering, Supply Chain) to meet operational needs
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Identify and implement cost-saving and process optimization initiatives
- Review and approve supplier invoices and prepare procurement reports
- Maintain detailed records of purchases, suppliers, logistics data and pricing
