Lead the mechanical‑electrical integration of EV battery packs, overseeing testing, documentation, and technical leadership to ensure compliance with structural, thermal, electrical, and functional specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical and environmental tests such as vibration, shock, thermal cycling, IP and drop tests
- Review electrical test results including IR, OCV delta analysis, balancing accuracy and capacity cycling
- Perform root cause analysis using Ishikawa, 5-Why, fault‑tree analysis
- Own engineering documentation: test reports, drawings, revision controls, ECNs
- Define measurement methods and acceptance criteria for hardware quality
- Supervise L1 mechanical technicians on build processes, torque control, sealing and fastener management
- Supervise L2 electrical technicians on high‑voltage routing, harness management and testing routines
- Train team members on safety, DFM and testing techniques
- Provide performance feedback and develop teams
