About the Role

The Laboratory Technician supports patient diagnosis by performing a range of clinical tests, ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, managing reagents, and documenting results through LIMS. The role requires adherence to strict QA/QC standards and collaboration with medical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical laboratory examinations (hematology, parasitology, urinalysis, microscopy)
  • Perform specimen collection, processing, analysis, and result interpretation
  • Maintain quality assurance and control procedures
  • Inspect and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Manage reagent inventory and procurement
  • Implement and manage LIMS for documentation
  • Write and update SOPs
  • Report critical values to physicians promptly
  • Share call duty and work extended shifts as required
