The Shelter Officer will assess community shelter needs, plan and supervise construction activities, ensure quality and adherence to humanitarian guidelines, and coordinate logistics and stakeholder engagement in Gambella.
Responsibilities
- Conduct shelter needs assessments and community consultations
- Plan and supervise shelter construction and repairs
- Prepare activity plans, BoQs, progress reports, and verification documents
- Ensure compliance with humanitarian principles and protection standards
- Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of materials
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders
- Maintain beneficiary and construction records
