About the Role

The Shelter Assistant Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of shelter assistance projects in Gambella, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and implementation of shelter assistance activities
  • Supervise shelter staff, engineers, and field teams
  • Engage with government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and partners
  • Monitor project progress and prepare technical and donor reports
  • Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures
  • Conduct field visits to assess needs and construction quality
  • Incorporate community feedback into implementation
  • Support procurement and logistics of shelter materials
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation measures
