The Shelter Assistant Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of shelter assistance projects in Gambella, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and implementation of shelter assistance activities
- Supervise shelter staff, engineers, and field teams
- Engage with government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and partners
- Monitor project progress and prepare technical and donor reports
- Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures
- Conduct field visits to assess needs and construction quality
- Incorporate community feedback into implementation
- Support procurement and logistics of shelter materials
- Identify risks and develop mitigation measures
