About the Role

The Finance Coordinator manages daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with policies, preparing budgets, conducting audits, and producing timely reports to support DEC’s programs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day financial and accounting operations
  • Participate in budget preparations and issue plans
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and budgeting policies
  • Support project visits and partners
  • Conduct internal audits of accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems
  • Respond to external and internal financial inquiries
  • Meet reporting deadlines
  • Develop annual work plan for the area
  • Monitor preparation and submission of reports
  • Assist in consolidation of the annual budget
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
