The Driver is responsible for daily vehicle inspections, safe transportation of passengers and goods, and maintaining accurate logs while operating in rural and emergency settings.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle condition daily
- Ensure seatbelt usage and safety compliance
- Transport passengers and goods as instructed
- Meet persons according to schedules
- Maintain focus while on standby for duty
- Report accidents promptly
- Renew driving license annually
- Report defective parts or malfunctions
- Submit fuel consumption and mileage reports
- Initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts
- Sign receipts for reimbursement
- Perform additional duties assigned
