About the Role

The Cashier Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, conduct internal audits, and prepare timely financial reports for the Development Expertise Center.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure payments comply with policy
  • Maintain financial & budgetary records
  • Conduct internal audits of accounts payable, payroll and fixed assets
  • Review and control project budget utilization
  • Respond to financial inquiries
  • Meet reporting deadlines
  • Prepare financial reports for head office
  • Manage cash withdrawals and bank reconciliations
  • Settle government payables on time
