The Cashier Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, conduct internal audits, and prepare timely financial reports for the Development Expertise Center.
Responsibilities
- Ensure payments comply with policy
- Maintain financial & budgetary records
- Conduct internal audits of accounts payable, payroll and fixed assets
- Review and control project budget utilization
- Respond to financial inquiries
- Meet reporting deadlines
- Prepare financial reports for head office
- Manage cash withdrawals and bank reconciliations
- Settle government payables on time
